Alright y’all. Maine is calling! Tomorrow I head out on my big adventure, just me and the dog and the open road.. And then camping for 3 days with family.. and then the open road part again. Hopefully with some APW lady sightings along the way.
When we put up the sweet new tent Zach got me for my birthday (!), right in the middle of the living room, Brady was wary at first and just watched everything from the safety of the couch. But once the tent was up and we were climbing in and out of it, he seemed to get excited to come in and explore (pretty sure he really just wanted a cupcake). I hope that means he’s going to LOVE sleeping in it in the woods..

Dear Brady: please enjoy the heck out of this trip so I don’t feel bad for making you miserable.
Dear Zach: I’m really sad you can’t come but thanks for being employed for the summer! :) Please miss me more than you miss the dog while we’re away. And, umm, don’t burn our home down or anything.
Dear Everyone Else: I am not one of those super-awesome types who schedule posts while they’re away. *cough* overachievers *cough* hehe. Please enjoy your vacation from Me, and come back next week to see pictures of our glorious expedition! xoxo

And get Brady some anti tick and anti flea medicine… they hang in the grass the little monsters and can make dogs suffer so much !
oh! yes he is on a regular dosage of frontline and interceptor, hopefully he is well equipped to fight off the vermin! but I will be checking him (and myself) for ticks and other buggers regularly.
I used to camp a LOT but it’s been a long time since I was out for 3 nights in a row.. so we’ll see how this goes! :)
