I was going to write a post raging against the tampa bay lightning, but now I’m watching the post game press conference with Bruce Boudreau (whom I affectionately refer to as Babyhead, because come on, he totally looks like a giant infant), and he’s just so awesome with his dorky tie, and he just loves his team and he just looks so SAD, and I can’t work up the energy for a proper I HATE YOU STUPID LIGHTNING DUMMIES.

I read an article recently (in Express ok, no I don’t read the real sports section Plzzz), where they quoted his wife, saying something about how he lives for the game and for the team, and when it’s bad for the team, it’s bad at home. I guess she probably knew back when she married him, what exactly it meant when she said “for better or for worse.”
Anyway chin up Babyhead. Anybody whispers about firing you, I’ll sock ’em one. ..Hope you don’t mind that I call you Babyhead.

He does look like a giant baby. I wonder if he’ll ever happen upon this blog? I wonder if he’d be flattered?
I really really hope he at least isn’t super offended, because it’s said with a Lot of affection. He definitely has a sense of humor, he does some commercials for local businesses and they are HILARIOUS. I mean hilarious because it’s him, acting really badly, in mercedes and copy-machine store and rug cleaning service commercials.. I’m pretty sure he thinks they’re funny too. I’m pretty sure.
My guy thinks that he’s on the chopping block, because it’s easy to get rid of coaches but harder to get rid of players. I didn’t have any feelings about him either way but the combination of the Babyhead moniker and the dorky tie and the wife and everything make him so huuuuman and lovable . . . now I might have to CARE. So, THANKS. I GUESS.
I shake my fist at your guy! hehe jk. I don’t think they’ll get rid of him this year, I think the amount of work he’s done on the team in the past few years is worth a little more time. I didn’t really follow the team before Babyhead, but apparently they were TERRIBLE. and they’ve pretty much been improving steadily since then. They’re a young team, next year will be even better! I’ve decided!
